It was always a dream of Vicki's to live on an estate with a grand name, so when they bought their home (and office) in 1998, Steve and Vicki were bemused to find a heritage oak on their land with a peculiar characteristic.

Although Steve thought “Twisted Oak” was an option, Vicki voted for the more romantic-sounding “Winding Oak.” Now our grand estate, less than a quarter-acre in size, has a name appropriate to some swellegant mansion. We're content—it's a mansion to us. (back to “About Us”)
